OUR STORY
Founded in 2022, Palisade Hockey was born out of a desire to help young hockey players achieve their goals and dreams. Palisade set out to create a program that not only develops hockey skills but also fosters a deep love for the game. Palisade Hockey is dedicated to providing top-tier training in the northern Minnesota area that empowers players to reach their full potential.

Our mission at Palisade is to set a new standard in hockey training. We strive to fuse top-tier training methods with the latest technology, creating an environment for athletes to thrive. Our focus is on mentorship and support, guiding players to innovate their training and unlock their true potential on the ice.
MEET THE COACH
Ben Smieja, the founder and owner of Palisade Hockey, is passionate about turning young athletes into well-rounded hockey players. A 2013 graduate of Warroad High School, Ben played two years of Junior A Hockey and four years of College Hockey before transitioning to coaching. With five years of coaching experience, Ben brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique approach to player development.
